Terms of Service
These terms apply to all work GT Web Builders ("we", "us") does for you ("the client"), including websites, web apps, mobile apps, chatbots, automation, and management plans. By approving a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotes
Quotes are based on the scope we agree in writing (WhatsApp or email). Work outside that scope is quoted separately before we start it. Prices on our website are starting prices in Guyanese dollars (GYD).
2. Payment
- A 60% deposit is due before work begins.
- The remaining 40% is due at launch, before the site or app goes live or is handed over.
- We accept bank transfer, MMG, cash and crypto.
- Deposits cover time already booked and work started, and are non-refundable once work has begun.
3. What's included with websites
Every website includes a free domain and 6 months of hosting. After 6 months, hosting can continue on one of our management plans or be handed over to you.
4. Monthly plans
Management and subscription plans are billed monthly, or up front for 3, 6 or 12 months at the discount shown on our website. Prepaid terms are not refundable once started. Plans renew only when you pay for the next term.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide content (text, images, logos, product details) and feedback on time. Delays on your side can move the launch date.
- Make sure you have the right to use any content you give us.
6. Revisions and timelines
We agree timelines and the number of revision rounds for each project in your quote. Extra revisions or new features may be charged separately.
7. Ownership
Once you have paid in full, you own your website content, design and domain. We may keep reusable code, tools and templates we created, and may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
8. Credit link
Websites we build may include a small "Website by GT Web Builders" credit in the footer. Ask us if you'd like it removed.
9. Third-party services
Some work relies on outside services such as hosting, domain registrars, WhatsApp, payment providers or AI platforms. We are not responsible for their outages, price changes or policy changes.
10. Liability
We work carefully, but we can't guarantee that any website, app or automation will be free of every error or produce specific business results. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
11. Cancellations
Either side can end a project in writing. You pay for work completed up to that point. The deposit is kept as described above.
